90 Minutes with Hillary Clinton

The first Vice President and the second President of the Child Rights Club, The 2007 International Children Peace Prize Winner and a member of KIDZ KAMERAZ Thandiwe Chama left for New York City in the United Staes of America where she has a breakfast meeting with the Secretary of State Mrs. Hillary Clinton scheduled on the 25th September 2009.
This is according to the concept programme released and communicated to among others Minister of Foreign Affairs Netherland Mr. Maxime Verhagen, Minister of External Relations of Brazil Mr. Celso Amorim, Special Representative of the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights in India Mrs Marta Santos Pais, Chairperson of the Protection of Child Rights in India Mrs. Shantha Sinha, KidsRights Foundation Excutive Director Mr. Alex and Mr. Wiseman Banda of Kidz Kameraz, founder for Jack CECUP School and Patron of Child Rights Club.
Deatils of the breakfast meetin are that this will be side Event forcusing on Violence Aganist Gil Child. The breakfast will take place in the UN Deligates' Dinning Room No. 6.

KIDZ FUNDRAISING SANSAMUKENSHONI


KIDZ KAMERAZ will on the 22nd August 2009 host a fundraising function starting at exactly 10am till 5:30pm at Blue Water Motel.

Among other activities will include dancing, miming and eating competition. Various prizes are expected to be at the centre stage.

All National leaders are expected to pay K50,000 each, and the patron K200,000. All Kidz Kameraz members shall pay K15,000 each while non members will be required to pay K10,000.

Items such as KIDZ KAMERAZ T-Shirts and Videos will be on sales as well as food and drinks.

All the proceeds shall be used to develop the Kidz Kameraz.

KIDZ KAMERAZ WELCOMES DUTCH STUDENTS

Some members of the Child Rights Club who are also members of the Kidz Kameraz where on the 14th July, 2009 welcomed Maud and Willejmn the students from Radbod University based in the Netherland. The students have come to train teachers at Jack CECUP School how to use computers. Esnart Siachumpi, Precious Nambeya, Mary Banda, Precious Tembo together with Fadeo Sing'andu went to the Lusaka International airport.
Mr. Wiseman Banda the school Director and other members of staff were handy to recieve the visitors who will spend over three weeks.

KIDZ KAMERAZ TO LAUNCH A RADIO STATION

The Kidz Kameraz is expected to launch a radio station in June 2009. This community radio station is expected to reach out to a population of over 27,000 people within the 10km radius it has tagerted.

currently, a team of local experts as busy coming making all the neccesary drawing of the trtansmiting mast, transmitter and other logistics.

A road map has been drawn by children themselves and will be handed over to a team of jonalists who are part of Kidz Kameraz for their opinion.

KIDZ KAMERAZ GOES INTERNATIONAL

The Kidz Kameraz which started as a Jack CECUP school project has gone international.So far Kidz Kameraz has partnered with International Children's Games Ghana and the Global Youth Council based in Sweden.

In 2008, Kidz kameraz Worked with Kids Rights Foundation of Netherlands by producing the newsletters.

As the result of the link with International Children's Games Ghana resulted into formation of International children's games Zambia.

The Global Youth Council has appointed Kidz Kameraz as the organising community in Zambia for the upcoming World Conference for children and Youths in Media to be held in Sweden in June 2010. This led to the formation of a group called Zambia Youth Council. Some member will travel from Zambia.

TWO MEMBERS ON THE WAY TO SOUTH AFRICA

Two members of the Kidz Kameraz will be travelling to the Republic of South Africa for an exchange visit with the BUDDYZ an group of youths based in Johannesburg who work with fellow Youths across their Country.

Moira Mambwe and McCanzie Mumba are buzy processing their passports. AS soon as the get the passports the sooner the trip will be.

KIDZ FOUNDER MEMBER TRAVELS TO UK

Mary Zimba age 13 and founder member for Kidz Kameraz will on the 16th May 2009 expected to land at Heathrow International Airport at 17:10hours enroute to New Castle. She will relocate to Hull on the 21st May 2009 where she will spend the rest of the day before she returns on the 27th May.

She is expected to visit St. Bedes RC Primary School, St Marys RC Primary School, St Benets RC Primary School in New Castle.

While in Hull she will hosted by Gillshill Primary School a Jack CECUP School partner school.
